NOVEMBER 13-15, 2015: Circle Ten Experience at the Texas Motor Speedway!
Our Troop participated in the largest Scouting event in Circle 10’s more than one-hundred year history; the Circle Ten Xperience (CTX for short). The CTX hosted packs, troops, teams, crews, posts, and ships. During the day there was a variety of exciting shows scheduled including:
- Skydivers
- Fast Rope Rappel from Helicopter
- Live Music
- Frisbee dog demonstration
- Aircraft flyovers
- Traxxis (remote-controlled cars)
- The Dallas Zoo
There was a Cub Scout Midway, a Boy Scout Area (dutch oven competition, orienteering course, exhibits, wilderness survival exhibits, pioneering exhibits, and many others), a Venturing Area, Mikanakawa Lodge Indian Village, Shooting Sports, Hot Air Balloons, Mountain Man/Historical Re-enactors, Military Showcase, Merit Badge Expo, Racing World, 5K Run, Police/Fire/EMS Showcase, and an Evening Arena Show with Fireworks. Lots of fun stuff for the entire Scouting family.
