A small group of scouts spent two days this month out at Bluestem Nursery in Arlington earning the Plant Science Merit Badge. We earned service hours helping Mr. Snowden, the owner, with his nursery and learned much about horticulture. We got a lot of hands-on experience transplanting plants and grasses and enhanced our knowledge about native trees, grasses and plants. Thank you Mr. Pace for organizing this great opportunity!
